TVS NTorq scooter

TVS NTorq scooter

TVS Motors is planning a ambitious innings for the recently launched NTorq 125 automatic scooter. The company looks to clock sales of 2 lakh units in the first year of production for this scooter, which means that it will directly challenge the recently launched Honda Grazia.

The NTorq is India’s most tech-packed scooter, and TVS Motors will be hoping that this infusion of technology will attract younger buyers towards the new 125cc automatic scooter. Priced at Rs. 58,750, the NTorq is the costliest scooter from TVS Motors, and is about Rs. 600 costlier than the Honda Grazia. It’s powered by a 125cc four stroke engine with 9.4 PS of peak power at 7,500 rpm and 10.5 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. A 95 Kph top speed and a 9 second timing for the 0-60 Kph sprint makes the NTorq very peppy indeed.

Key features of the NTorq 125 include 12 inch tyres, tubelesstubele, telescopic front forks and a mono-shock rear suspension, front disc brake, digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, call alerts and navigation functions, ride stats and a ‘last-known location feature’, a mobile phone charging point and finally an external fuel filler cap. The NTorq is available in 4 matte colours, a nice differentiating feature that also adds a touch of premiumness.
